Sterling by Music Man AX40 with a great-looking quilted maple-style top in a transparent purple/magenta finish. The guitar is in good player-grade condition and is structurally solid. It does show normal signs of use, including light scratches/pick wear and some wear/tarnishing on the tremolo hardware.
There is also a significant area of finish damage/chipping along the rear body edge, which is clearly shown in the photos. This is cosmetic and should be considered when evaluating the guitar’s condition.
The figured purple top still presents extremely well and gives this AX40 a lot of visual character. These guitars have a comfortable Axis-style feel, straightforward controls, and a locking tremolo setup that makes them a great choice for rock, hard rock, and metal.
