Up for grabs is a classic 1990s shred machine: a 1996 Jackson PS2 Dinky in a striking Transparent Green finish. This guitar perfectly captures that era of Jackson performance, featuring the highly sought-after 24-fret neck and a versatile HSS pickup configuration that handles everything from crystal cleans to heavy high-gain leads.
Condition Report:
-
Body: Overall in good condition. As a 30-year-old instrument, it does show some honest wear and minor imperfections in the finish (nicks/light scratches), but nothing that affects the structural integrity or playability.
-
Neck & Frets: The frets are in great shape with plenty of life left. The neck is straight, making for a fast, comfortable playing experience.
-
Electronics: Fully functioning. The Jackson J-series pickups and 5-way switching are all working exactly as they should with no scratchy pots or signal issues.
-
Case: Includes the original Jackson molded hardshell case. While the case has protected the guitar well for three decades, please note it shows its age: some rust deposits are present on the latches, and the plastic feet are missing. It still latches securely and provides excellent protection.
This is a rock-solid, gig-ready Dinky that looks as good as it plays. Whether you're a collector of 90s Jacksons or looking for a reliable shredder with a killer vibe, this PS2 delivers.
