This is a signature model inspired by the iconic Jazz Bass Special Duff played on Appetite for Destruction. Combining a Precision Bass body with a Jazz Bass neck and an active/passive electronics circuit, this bass is designed for power, speed, and aggressive rock tones.
Professional Upgrades
This specific model has been modified for even better performance and reliability:
-
Bridge Upgrade: Swapped for a high-mass Hipshot A-Style Bridge. This provides superior sustain, better intonation adjustment, and a more locked-in feel compared to the stock vintage-style bridge.
-
Pickup Upgrade: The Precision neck pickup has been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan (the industry standard for that signature Duff "growl"). It delivers a punchier, more defined low-end that cuts through any high-gain mix.
Condition & Playability
This bass is in very good condition and has been used as a real player's tool.
-
Player's Wear: It shows honest signs of use (minor surface swirls and light nicks) consistent with a guitar that’s been gigged.
-
Hardware: There is some slight oxidation on the Hipshot bridge, giving it a cool, slightly "relic'd" look that fits the aesthetic of the bass perfectly.
-
Electronics: Fully tested and 100% functional. The TBX™ (Treble Bass Expander) circuit works as it should, offering a massive sweep of tonal possibilities.
Included Extras
-
Aftermarket Case: Includes a sturdy aftermarket hardshell case to ensure the bass stays protected at home or on the road.
